What would be considered a southern dish in Wyoming?

My brother has recently moved to Wyoming from Georgia where he was born and raised in a very southern family. He is going to a cook out (barbque for all you non southern folks) at his friends house and they want him to bring a "southern dish" but he doesn't know what would be good to bring.....They don't even sell grits in wyoming!!!!
