Whats the difference between DXM and Zoloft? They both highten the serotonin levels of the brain.?

DXM raises my mood and makes me a lot more social. I'm getting prescribed on Zoloft this week and im hoping to achieve at least the mood part. So don't lecture me about drugs please. I have read on multiple sites they affect both dopamine? and serotonin? please enlighten me. Because i enjoy dxm and it works. So i don't see why zoloft wouldn't. And dxm pretty much has the same side effects. ual dysfunction, stomache aches, head aches. But they don't bother me.
