Since your dragon is so old, he should have a story about when he was young (maybe his parents?), middle age (wife, kids, friends?), and one more recent (involving the aunt). What did he do when he was a kid, what happened to his parents or siblings or other dragons, maybe a knight tried to slay him and they became friends. Just use your imagination, I'm sure your grandma will love whatever you come up with.
