New airport body scanners now pointless thanks to obama?

so thanks to the Fruit of Kaboom bomber, Umar Farouk Abdul Mutallab who sewed explosive chemicals into his underwear on Northwest Airlines Flight 253 on December 25, 2009. we now have these full body scanners that everyone has to go threw. but thanks to obama they are now exempt for Muslims, so whats the point in having them in the first place? that's 1 our of 4 people in the world, this is unacceptable. what say you about this? don't ask for links, lern to google.
