Legel Help Please?

I have a 23 old son I live in Ohio. My son had a lil boy with a girl from ky. He just recieved SSI because he has a chemical inbalance in his head. He has always been off. The girl he had a child with tried to get pregnant thinking my husband who drives a semi for a living and backs a good bit of money, would pay my sons child support with is 4 thousand dollars. He went to court for a cild support hearing and the judge held him in comtept even though he had papers stating he was approved for SSI. Set another date for a sentance hearing saying if the 4 thousand was not paid in 3 months before the hearing date. Then he would put my son in jail. Well my son came home thinking he was going to jail because he can't work because of his condition. He took a knife and tried to stab hisself in the stomach. I have medical trouble myself high blood pressure infozemia broncitias ect. When he acts up this adds more stress to me and causes me to get sick. I called a lawyer.
