How soon can you dye hair after making a terrible mistake?

My daugher wanted to add natural colored red streaks to her beautiful blonde hair. When it was rinsed out, the streaks had spread, and it's PINK blotches. How do we get back to her natural color? We need a quick fix, but a healthy one too.
