Do people against Foie Gras think that ducks are people?

I'm very sorry. Squab is a delicacy in parts of Europe, etc. Well-meaning people have cooked and offered me squab and I had to respectfully decline. When I was young, I had pet doves and pet pigeons. It was just too emotionally for me. I'm sorry that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration laws are different than what you're used to. Happy Holidays! :D
