Can i lower my 1992 honda accord with 205/55-16 size tires?

Actually the bigger the rim the lower profile tire and lower springs you put. You dont want to go too low for obvious reasons but those tires you have are pretty grandmaish. If it where me i would have when with 205/40-16 or 205/45-16. Reason: eliminate the rock in the tires. Better Handling. Any real street racer will tell you if your gunna go flashy rims the best way to go is 215/35-17. Plenty of rubber on the road, and the rim is big enough to bling and small enough for the faster spin time. Hope this helped. ....oh and what ever you do, DONT CUT THE SPRINGS.
