How many laptops and desktops do most people own?

In total how many laptops and desktop combinations do most people own. The thing is my wife is kinda wondering how many of each do most people own and use because we have a lot in our house. I own a HP Pavilion 9150t (fully loaded) desktop cuz u get more bang for ur buck and power with desktops and i never seem to move my laptop, I have a HP HDX 18 (fully loaded) for travel purposes like on vacations and family trips, a Lenovo Elite Pad (fully loaded) for business purposes, and my wife owns a 17" Macbook Pro (fully loaded). She thinks we spent a little too much on computing systems but the thing is i desire efficiency, productivity and longetivity and these systems are amazing especially for the purposes we use them for. basic internet browsing, multimedia functions (watching movies, listening to music, making home videos of the family), word/spreadsheet processing. Does anyone think this is too much for a home computing system?
