How can you make salmon taste less fishy?
I don't really like seafood, but I know that fish, particularly salmon, is very good for you, so I try to eat it at least every other week. I'd like to start eating it more often, but I really hate the taste of it. I've tried a dill-mayonnaise sauce that helped to mask the taste, but it's still not likable to me. Does it make a difference buying it whole vs. pre-cut? I usually get it from a local grocery store. Are certain methods of cooking better for hiding that fishy taste (like grilling or baking)? What else can you do with salmon besides eating it as the main meat dish? Are there cerole recipes for it? I'd really appreciate any helpful advice! I'm trying to set an example for my fiance to try eating healthy foods that he doesn't love by trying to do it myself.
